Have an 03 350z that needs a tune... any recommendations?
The car has a bunch of minor "bolt-ons" from the previous owner. Runs rich and feels sluggish at points throughout normal driving and mid range when getting into it a bit. Willing to travel, just looking for a good shop to get it where it should be, so taking recommendations.
Thanks

I'm not even going to bash you for not searching
I just want to know why you'd still buy something with those symptoms?

What mods does it have? Plenum spacer/kinetix? TB? Exhaust work?. There are a bunch of local shops in DC/MD I can recommend, the best being Hills Garage just south of Baltimore. Have you tried resetting ECU or going back to stock?

The only notable bolt ons pertaining to issue would be Motordyne 5/16 spacer, Stillen exhaust, Borla headers, Gruppe M intake, Mrev2 intake manifold... I had the ECU reflashed at dealership (didn't help) when I had the IMMU replaced 3 weeks ago(which was/has been the only real issue with car), the engine's compression was tested, and full diagnostic performed.
Not that I feel I should justify myself to any of you, since I'm just getting recommendation from someone with actual useful information. And truth be told if you try to search this site (and yea we all know it's not a resource tool by any means) for a little help or past experiences you're destined to have 3/4 of the replies stating useless bullshit just like above. But I have read a ton of reviews, forums, checked tech sites, test drove (NUMEROUS modified and stock) and talked to fellow z owners before buying. And I'm almost positive the combination of mrev2 manifold and 5/16 spacer is the cause for mid range hesitation (known issue for the VQ35DE), PLUS few other variables including headers, exhaust, intake and possibility of fuel pump.
I have heard a lot of positive things about p tuning in manassas as well as adrenaline in Richmond area
I do however appreciate the little help I have/may receive.

I have asked my local G club for input on this and they told me that PTUNING has up rev but is not a licensed tuner that is recognized by Uprev. They all recommended Hills Garage(nissan specialist and I have heard nothing but amazing things about them) in Baltimore MD, and Phantasm in Raleigh NC as a second option. If you're ever closer to this area look up National G Club. We have most of our members primarily in the Nova/MD area but a couple in Richmond also. Good lucl, they sound like good mods, you can try to reset the ECU yourself if you like, it's pretty simple really.

Resetting the ECU is really only necessary if it is locked. Plus, from what you've described, the ECU is way beyond its limitations for trying to correct what's going on. With the intake/spacer, plus the exhaust, the characteristics of that motor have drastically changed. No way the factory ECU is mapped to handle that.
I'm telling you, contact Ed of hitech tuning. He flys up and down the east coast, Midwest, and to foreign countries to tune everything from bolt on GTO's, to twin turbo vipers in Australia, and 8 second GTR's in china.
