H.I.D...legal or not ?
I am interested in buying some 10,000k H.I.D. However i have gotten tickets for my exhaust and tint (which I removed) already, does anyone if these are illegal in Va? Also if they are do cops harass people with them?

Well, of course any "blue/green/yellow/pink," HID's are illegal. Only dickhead cops will fuck with you for tint or having blue lights IMO. I've had 10k HID's, and 15% window tint, and I've never gotten pulled (knock on wood.) All BMW's, and I'm sure all the nicer cars (Lexus, Mercedes etc...) have the 5600k HID's I believe? They're the whiteish color ones, and I'm pretty sure you're fine with that.

EDIT: Also, do some research, if you haven't already, concerning the beam pattern of your headlamps and the bulbs you're buying. Don't want to blind oncoming...

HID's that come stock on cars are legal... but all those shitty plug and play HID's are illegal. If they don't have a DOT or SAE mark, you will fail inspection too.

And the DOT ruled all of these HID conversions illegal.
