GOT MY CAR BACK! Re-ringed, new LT headers, etc...
Well I just got in after driving up to Casey Chevy to get my car. It's AWESOME arty:
Here's what I had done:
1. Re-ring
2. Clutch hydraulics flush
3. NKG tr-55s installed
4. Kooks 1 3/4ths w/ cats installed.
Upon startup there's more valve-train noise and it's louder. Then the idle settles down and it sound about the same as w/ out headers, but a bit throatier. I made sure not to go over 5000 rpms and no WOT so the best I got was 3/4ths throttle to 5000 rpms. THIS CAR ROARS with the Kooks and stingers. Going through the tunnel I was next to a 5.0 Cobra and he just smiled and gave me .
The sound is "smoother" if that makes any sence b/c of the x-pipe, it's louder b/c of the two hi-flo cats (instead of four) and the LT headers, and the resonance is pronounced (when in the resonance zone). I'm going to take her "easy" for 200 miles then it'll be ready for some real flogging; I can't wait!
I'll take some vids Friday or Saturday!

Heads and cam will be planned after the new AFR heads prove their worth. It'll probably be a project for late next year... I can't blow all my money on this thing.
