Default gauges

i just got done taking my dash apart so i could put my speedometer needle back on and i notice all my wires connect into two plugs that plug directly into the back of my gauges.....i was wondering if anyone knew if i could take one that has the tachometer on it also and connect if it would still work...this would help a lot so i dont have to by a 20 inch tach and look all ricey

What? You should explain your question better, and this should be in the tech talk forum. Idiot.

Does your stock cluster have a tach? If so, one of the pins will be a engine speed input. Trace it back from the needle on your cluster.

If not, the plug might still be wired up for a higher trim level of your car that does have a tach in the cluster. Checking the factory wiring diagrams will tell you.

Are you wondering if swapping in another stock cluster that has a tach in it will work? the answer is yes. Sometimes. Depends on the car.

Say what?

If you are asking if your tach wire will work with other tachs.... YES it will work with any tach setup for your size engine, a tach for a 4 cyl will register VERY incorrect RPMS on say an 8 cylinder.

Should work, as far as I know manufacturers supply the wiring for most options so they only have to install one harness in everything.
