As gas prices continue to rise.

As gas prices continue to rise.
Will we see a new trend in car modifications? Attempting to build a car capable of doing 65 mph, with the least horsepower possible!
"I got my civic down to 22whp! Its got a 2psi turbo on it, and I get 85 miles per gallon! "

And IIRC it takes double the HP to go 65 than it does going 55. Of course, that HP number is something like 6-7hp at 55, and like 15 at 65.

I wonder about other, more realistic things that could happen and would suck.... like, a surcharge to have a pizza delivered. It sucks how much we depend on fossil fuels from other nations.

You people suck. I drove 80 miles a day damn near with a 12mpg formula running on premium on the highway, and not once did I bitch. You all are a bunch of vaginas.
But for real this $2.79 a gallon for premium sucks. The neon only gets like 22mpg city

Re: As gas prices continue to rise.
Turbo just did an article on Blitz's turbocharged Prius.. they didn't post times, but shit's sick nonetheless. IIRC, they only ran like 6psi, nearly doubled the gas engine's power output, and with both engines combined, it made nearly 200hp and 440ft/lbs of torque or some shit like that.

Re: As gas prices continue to rise.
this is kind of an interesting thead but is it more complicated than just sacrificing horsepower. I find it funny that my MACh1 gets better highway gas mileage than my mothers new Volkswagen Beetle.
