Front End Swaps

I have a 1990 240 and a front end from a 1990 silvia that was cut on the pillars. I was wondering if anyone knew somebody that would be willing to do the front end swap if I brought them a rolling chassis.

It should just be a bolt on affair. Don't be lazy, do it yourself.

Here, I even found you a guide.

I re-read my post and guess I should have been more specific. I am trying to make the car RHD. The 240 has a bad front end on it.

Do you have a lot of money? Most shops that would touch a RHD conversion won't be cheap to do it correctly.

I wouldn't think that it would cost a shit tone considering it will be all cutting and welding, I can remove dash, steering column, engine and anything else that would need to be removed. I know a friend of mine had a dodge avenger that got wrecked in the front and the body shop had to replace the entire front end and weld a new on and it was only like $4500 or so I think. His insurance paid for it and the body shop gave him pics of the work and repairs done (at his request of course). That was not here though.

So you are willing to spend $4500 on a RHD swap on a 240?

I would assume that the labor would be a lot cheaper than that considering they are not going to have to remove or replace any parts since the car is a rolling chassis. The $4500 included the labor, bumper, fenders and a radiator I think.

The 240 I have has a front end that is not repairable, I have a front clip from the same year silvia siting around. I think that if someone would do the cutting and welding to put the silvia front end on it for around $1000 or so it would be the same price as finding another 240. Plus it would be different to have a RHD 240.

You're joking right? You wouldn't be the first to do it, you'll just fit in with the rest of them who put more money into the car than what it's actually worth. It's a 240sx, nothing special, just buy a better car.
