Ford GT v. C6 Z06
I was at Barnes & Noble yesterday doing some magazine bench racing with a friend of mine. We were talking quietly about the performance of the new Z06 and the GT when this nosey, pain-in-the-ass loser walks up to us and joins our conversation. He instantly starts arguing that the Z06 would out perform a GT. I then proceeded to defend the GT, but it was obvious this guy didn't have enough sense to pound sand in a rat hole. 
I know for a fact the GT's performance, much less its heritage is better than that of the Z06. In fact I don't think they're even on the same level, but I thought I would ask you guys what you thought. I have a feeling what you everyone is going to say, but just wanted to hear it from people with a brain. So what is it, on a performance basis, which is the better car?

They will be very close, but I still love the looks of the GT over the new Z06. Hell I'm a vette guy and I would take the GT over the Z06 however it's nowhere close in terms of value. I can't wait to see what the new Z06s do when supercharged or TT
Bottom line: $140,000 Ford = WTF?
