I was on the web and came across a cool Focus ST video, I always like a car with a little racing pedigree not that most FF hot hatches out there don't have some. Does anyone know if it handles as a good as a GTI? bang for buck the ST has got it tho...

Depends what you want. Quality wise the GTI is much better in my opinion. I've drove an ST. They have a lot of grunt, but it feels less refined. Also the electronics are super complicated for my taste. Just go drive each one and get your own opinion as opposed to ours since we are all biased. If you are a Ford fan go get the Ford.

It's a matter of opinion I've driven a GTI but not the ST. Cosmetics I give to ST as I don't find the GTI appealing at all.
Aftermarket support should be very good for both. It's no secret I detest VW so I'm biased but I will be be driving a focus ST end of this year.

A well equipped GTI is 10 grand more, so I got the ST.

I prefer the Fiesta ST personally. Or the GTI. But I find the Mk7's to be kind of ugly.

I love the Fiesta, but it is proper small. Focus has so much more room.
