fixed seats
Anyone have some Sparco evo 2's locally. I'm trying to gather some opinions before I purchase. I'd like to see if I could sit in one because the nearest Sparco dealer is up in NOVA. I've looked into Corbeau FX1's as well, which seem to be the equivalent of the evo 2. Unfortunately, the nearest dealer is up in NOVA as well.

Re: fixed seats
haha no, my fat ass broke the stock seat. The car sees a handful of autox events in a year. I just got my tax return check so what better way to spend it? I'm trying to see if I can get the ball rolling on getting a new one put in before season opener at acu-4. I know i'm cutting it close with time, but thats why I'm reaching out to drag to see whats out there. I really wanna avoid purchasing one before I actually sit in one.

Re: fixed seats
Corbeau is crap, do not buy.
At my biggest, 6'1 240lbs-ish I fit like a glove in an Evo XL (Evo 2); I currently now have an Evo and Evo L. Also, avoid Sparco seat bases like the plague. Call Wedge Engineering and tell them what you have and what you want to put it in.

Re: fixed seats
I planned on going with a Wedge Engineering bracket anyways because I've heard Corbeau's brackets and rails are shitty. The issue with a lot of rails out there is that they actually raise the seat a good amount. I'll have to give Wedge a call tomorrow to see what the deal is on their rails. I'm still hoping someone local has an Evo 2 seat that I can try out
EDIT - you're not the first person to say negative things about Corbeau's. I think I have read enough to decide not to go with them. Although, since they are regarded as Evo 2 equivalents, it wouldn't hurt to sit in one to get an idea of how i'd fit in an Evo.
