FCUK Gurus of wheelnees needed again

Yeah, so the wheels i ordered are on backorder for 60-90 days.

I wound up getting the LM replicas 16x7.5 +35.

Well, my tires came in today 225-45ZR16 BFG G-Force KDW.

I'm looking for another 16x7.5 or 8" 4x100 wheel with a decent offset to mount these puppies on.

I think a 225 on a 7" wheel will look retarded, so I'm looking for either 7.5 or 8.

So what are my options?

Not to have ordered 225s, when much better 215s could have been ordered.

I got a STEAL on the tires, and the selection of 215's is GARBAGE

215/45/16 Kuhmo Ecsta XS. One of the highest rated sticky tires on the market. I think the only better tire is the RE11 right now. Plus they are less than the same size Azenis which are an inferior tire now.

Either way, this isn't about tires.

WELL IM MAKING IT ABOUT TIRES!

If I were looking for 16x8 wheels, it would be RPF1s, and they come in +38 in 5 lug, not sure what the offset is for 4 lug, or if that size is available in 4 lug.

Re: FCUK Gurus of wheelnees needed again

i have 195 on my 15x7, I know that doesnt really help, but like you said I think the 225 would look silly indeed on a 7" wheel.

what car is it going on?

If your tires are brand new, get your money back and order something else. You got a shitty size anyways.

Stop making these threads. You shoulda bumped your old one.

16x8 +38 with your tires will be 5mm more poked than the jeeps w/ 205s

You have to be careful with 8" wheels.

Too high of an offset will not clear the RTA

agreed but im about 99.3% positive that extra 5mm will make them rub all day especially on a camber corrected car.

As far as the other things. I keep jackin his threads lol, they are.... um.... close??

all me and carl could find layin around was a 195/60 so he through it on. im gonna need a good bit of camber. i got pics but they are just silly.
