Factory Orange Peel
As most people know, GM is kind enough to give us car guys factory orange peel paint without the extra cost. Aren't we lucky.
So, is there any recommendations as to eliminating this? I don't mind doing it myself or even inquiring about having someone else do it. I would just like to have my new white truck.... shine like a new white truck.

Re: Factory Orange Peel
if its in the clear coat you can have it wet sanded out... if not your choices are to leave it or repaint it.
I have it in mine and hate it. A lot of the Trailblazer SS guys have had theirs wet sanded at a paint shop cause it usually is the clear coat, just take it to one you trust and see what they can do.

You can wet sand and buff it and it will be fine. Alot of dodges came the same way. When we used to do work for Dodge our paint would come out with less orange peal then the original paint.
