Exhaust input (99civicsi)
Got pulled over yesterday a few miles from Wintergreen by a State Cop, got ticketed for improper equipment (exhaust being to loud). It came with the car when i bought it (Greddy EVO II), so I'm planning on changing it to a more stock looking and quite, but will look nice on the car. Looking for Suggestions in what Exhaust would be good for a 99 Civic Si (b16a). Thanks in advance (any links would be helpful)

Yeah I got a ticket for Equipment Violation (Improper Muffler) which is a 30 dollar fine... but that doesnt include the 51 dollar processing fee and 10 dollar local fee for each offense. I was going like 45-50 on a 45mph road. I let go of the gas which seems louder then when I push it down (sounds very deep, and doesnt sound like a mopad). Atleast the cop wasn't a dick about it and just told me to get it fix so the charges will be dropped.

My vote is for the WS2. I love that exhaust, only gets semi loud when you punch it, and it's a nice healthy sound. The WS2 is what I want to eventually get for my civic. It even looks nice, not a huge hole in the back of the car, kind of a polished stock look. The only set back is that it's kinda of pricey. But I would have to say definitely worth it.

I don't see why you couldn't do that. The axle back portion of it may bolt up in different places, but you could just get it cut off somewhere and get the WS2 muffler welded on.
I'm not real sure on this but I think the WS2 catback and the WS2 universal are different. The muffler on the catback is chambered, and the universal is a straight through design. Like I said, I'm not 100% sure.
