Default Ever had "sunshading" on your registration and then taken off?

I'm taking my ex-wife off my registration and she was the one with the sunshading on the registration. Now the DMV wants a shop to sign a document stating that the tint has been removed. Anyone ever been through this? Did they ever call them? I'm not taking the tint off.

Good luck getting your car inspected next year with the window tint up there.

And good luck with the officer that pulls you over for having tint on there.

for as much as you pay to get it put on you pay much more for having them take it off

This may have changed im not sure but...I dont think they can fail you for tint, but it is a ticketable offense. I asked a state trooper friend of mine and he said tint is not an official inspection item because most shops don't have the proper testing equipment.

Please correct me if Im wrong though.

Your wrong. If it's on the windshield, it WILL fail inspection. No matter the %.
