Engine Builders?

Engine Builders?
Any reputable shops in NoVA? I'm looking for internal engine work to be done on my LS1 f-body, so I prefer to go somewhere that specializes with domestics.
Thanks,

Re: Engine Builders?
Why not going to Eastern Fbody Association forums and post there, you are more than likely going to get the response you are looking for there. It is more specific to what you are looking for, not here.........

go to A&A Speed and Custom. It's in woodbridge, and they specialize in small and big block chevy's and other domestic's.....but mostly the bow tie. :bigthumb:

Re: Engine Builders?
Just called the place in Woodbirdge and they want $1400-1500 for machining, $600 for assembling, and $1800-$2000 to pull the motor and put it back in. I think I'll do my own assembly and motor pulling, but does anyone know a cheaper place to get machining done? It should be pretty trivial as I'm only going from a 3.898" piston to *GASP* 3.898" piston!!! And why the hell are they trying to get me to find new heads?!
