ebay short shifters
just curious if anyone has had any experience with stuff like this

Cheap crap breaks easily, even a B&M short shifter is not too much more expensive and uses Steel instead of Aluminum which breaks a lot easier than steel. And if it does break, you not only lose the shifter but the shift knob as well (as the threads will break off in the shift knob). That's what I've been told at least, I have a B&M, paid less than $50 shipped and it's solid.

i wouldn't have thought even a crappy aluminum shifter would break, considering it's held in mostly by rubber and plastic, but i've seen three of them break with my own eyes, so i guess i can verify the rumors. i went with B&M... solid steel, haven't had a problem.
