Re: E36 LUV?
-check the shock top mounting points for cracking or mushrooming
-the stock radiator neck tends to chip and or crack leading to coolant leaks
-Guibo
-rear window seals on the coupe tend to leak, look under rear seast for evidence
-passenger door handle (especially on coupes) goes to crap
-brake light switch behind the brake pedals goes bad, tends to get dirty and crap out
-you will be replacing the headliner
I miss my '92 E36 325is more than any other car I've ever had.

Its in rough shape, but that means I can talk him down. I will post picks this week when im at work.
The headliner looks good though, however the inside is kinda rough broken things here and there the seats do not look too bad. The body is ok, definitely needs paint sooner or later.
It starts then immediately cuts off and someone stole the converter off it. lol
Thinking of selling my car to fund some of this project.

Re: E36 LUV?
I did a 2.5 swap in a 318 these cars are very easy to work on. They ride like they are on rails but watch out for rear subframe failures this plagued the e36 and some e46s. When this happens the thin sheetmetal holding the rear diff carrier to the car breaks not from corrosion but fatigue. M3's already have them welded in. If you go the bmw swap route the cluster and ecu have to be changed if it is not a certain part number there is one ecu that works with every eng i forgot what number. I have since sold that car it maybe still in the area it is green with 3 series on the side with m3 front bumper and loud straight thru exhaust.
