So after my second Mercedes I'm kinda hooked on euros now and am looking to get a 325 for a grand for my next project.
Never owned a BMW let alone a E36 any advice thoughts?

I was thinking the same thing, its my bosses old car so ima try to talk him down a little lol the interior is beat but the body is straight enough. Just want something I can make fun, cheap(sort of) and don't mind besting the shit out of because its a beater anyway.
I can try new shit I haven't done yet.

Engine swaps are the way to go with these cars, makes these cars come alive.

I had a 97 328i. I loved it. I would have 5.0 swapped it in a heartbeat if I had kept it.

I miss my E36. At some point I wanted to do gut it and track it but funds and time for a project came up short. Eventually I saw a good opportunity and moved up to an E46. They really are great cars. Lots of fun to drive, reliable and I could just sit there and look at it for days.

The best way to make an E36 come alive is a 13B swap. Ignore these noobs.

That sounds awesome, do they sell wiring kits for the swaps? Or you proably can just uses the engine, ecu and wire up the sensors for the gauges ?
