ok DSM peeps i need your help. i got a GS eclipse and my friend has a turbo off of a GST that he wants to sell me. i wanna put it on my car but i read on MachV that u cant put a GST turbo onto a GS eclipse. can it be done if i buy all the pipeing, manifold, downpipe, etc. or is it just impossible to do?? i just wanted to see if i could be done before i bought the turbo. someone help me out here.

u can if u get a manifold to make it fit.... what they are referring to is... it wont bolt up

because the compressions are different how does that affect the motor, and will have to do something to make sure everything runs right?

ppppppppppppop! the 420a is not evactly the best at handling extra hp let alone boost. For the money youd spend on builidng it to handle boost you could jsut buy a turbo car

My buddy tried the whole turbo 420A thing with stock internals and it died running 7psi after 5 months. He didn't drive it hard or anything. He how has a built turbo 420A and has absolutely no problems except replacing sparkplugs every 5-6 days. The manifold from the GS-T will not fit up with the 420A either. The turbo will work but the manifold will not.
