Re: del sol sex change...
I've talked to people about doing it on my old mx6. From what I was understand, not too costy if you do it yourself. There's a lot of things you have to unplug, and you have to get used to your engine light being on(You could always cover it in your cluster.. i've done that before.) If you're doing it yourself, just hit up one of those junkyards in the 757. There's too many to choose from. Just grab a manual swap from an old Del Sol. Gah, I had a friend(he was in the Navy) that did the exact swap you're talking about. I don't have his e-mail anymore.. his name was Jason, and he was on DDG93.. but I forget his contact. Feck.

Re: del sol sex change...
Just find any civic engine SOHC tranny OBD1+ and get a couple parts.
1.Shift Linkage
2.Shifter
3.Transmission
4.Clutch Cyl. (Master/Slave)
5.5spd ECU
6.Pedal Set
I think the mounts my be off by an inch or so. Then it's all wiring. Major headache, and be sure to leave your car in neutral before you start. Oh and get something to cut metal with :P
