Fucking RIDICULOUS.

And the DA isn't even treating it as a criminal case. They say it's a civil case and should be resolved in civil court. If it was the other way around, they would be charging the individual with grand larceny and grand theft auto, two felony charges, yet that's exactly what the dealership did.

Here's their e-mail address and phone number.

Considered breach of contract and not theft since ownership changed only upon the terms of the contract.

I saw this on bimmerforums. Some of the phone calls they made to that place were hilarious.

Me: Used Car Sales
Them: Just a moment
Them: This is Rodney, can I have your name please?
Me: Well I am just looking for a Suburban.
Them: Ok, well we have several to choose from, what colors and options are you looking for?
Me: Well, I would like the anti-theft option for sure.
CLICK
BH: Thank you for calling Bill Heard Chevrolet of Nashville. This is [insert name here], a public relations manager how may I help you?
Me: Ah yes, [insert name here], just the person that might be able to help me.
BH: How can I help you sir?
Me: Well you see, my truck was stolen last night and I just wanted to see if I could have a sales manager check your lot becau.........

She hung up on me.
Me: I had some questions.
Her: In reference to purchasing a vehicle?
Me: no I sold this guy a computer but don't like the deal. Who do you guys use to steal shit back?
Her: Click
Her: Public relations specialist, yadda yadda yadda
Me: Hi! I have a 2003 Chevy Suburban and i have a problem.
Her: What might your problem be?
Me: Well, I woke up this morning and it was missing.
Her: Your truck was stolen?
Me: Yes, I was wondering if you guys might have seen it? I hear you do that kind of thing?
