Default Damage Repair Assessment

I was recently side swiped by a car pulling out of the parking spot next to me at the mall.... and the biznatch bailed.

anyway, there's a dent, and some scratches in the paint..

I filed a claim and what not with insurance, and I only have to pay 200 bucks (deductible)

this is for
-dent pulling
-repainting, clear coat etc.
-life-time guarantee (as long as you own your vehicle blah blah blah)

can anywhere else do this job for cheaper, with quality?

btw, this is the insurance company's service center... so. I don't know what they're like. they're estimate came out to a little over 500 bucks.

thoughts?

thanks

So you're trying to get the damage repaired and repainted for less than the $200 deductible? Or are you trying to get it done for less than the $500 quote you got? It's pretty much impossible to diagnose sight unseen though, so either way you're going to have to get someone to take a look at it..

yeah,i know. I already took it to the service center to have it looked at, and the estimate he gave me was 503 and some change. I only have to pay 200 bucks....but i'm not sure of the quality of work insurance service centers do..

Take it to another shop and get an estimate.. There usually isn't any reason that you can't choose anyone you want to do the repair work once you get the insurance payout.
