CRX DX vs. HF?
Does anyone know the difference between a CRX HF and a CRX DX? Ive started hearing about the DX's lately and dont know anything about them.
Thanks |
I believe the HF's are lighter but I'm no Honda expert.
|
the hf is the lowest end of the CRX's
the hf has approximately 62 HP and the dx has about 92HP the hf is a very slow car!! thas about all i know |
62 hp holy shit.

i think metros beat me..lol |
dx's are dual point injected.

ok thanks. Damn my car is slow. At least I dont try to claim its fast. I guess i do need that swap soon.
|
hf's are better to swap. their lighter. but dont plan on running anything hard on it. EVERYthing is built smaller and lighter. i dont like dx's theyre bs. get an si or hf. ive had both.
|
ok..well...the HF is a gas car...and a good one at that. now grant it...its got a whole 62 hp (thats right brandon 62) and dosnt do much in the way of speed ( my gfs (sexy rexy) can beat celicas though lol) and yeah the HF is a good swap car it has multi point injection like the b series motors and the DX dosnt so with the dx yeah get more power and all but...bad for swaps
|
DX isn't bad for swaps. The wiring thing isn't as big of an issue as I originally thought it would be.
|
the dx is only dual point fuel injection where the hf is multiiport fuel injection.
|
werd! I like my car more and more now. Go HF's!

for a no bs car the hf in my opinion is best. ive never weighed mine but ive read that they are a shy over 1800 pounds stock. the hf shed weight with no rear wiper, no sunroof,no right side mirror, fucking seats that make you feel like you are getting raped if you in them for more than 5 min. as far a duribility i think they have no problems. the only thing you would NEED to change would be the front brakes, they are puny. i swapped an si into the car when i first got it,then traded that for a zc,im now making a zc turbo and the only thing i plan on changing are axles and integra or si brakes/rotors hubs. everything else seems plenty durable.
