CORVETTE OWNERS GET IN HERE!!
I just got pulled because one of my headlights was out (voltage problem with HIDs im guessing cause it popped back on) but i digress...
He mentioned that my front plate was illegally displayed in my winshield (bottom right hand corner) I for one have no desire to remove the corvette plate and put my license plate there as I feel it ruins the aesthetics of the car. so corvette owners pipe in! who here has their front plate mounted on the bumper?

Actually, my Tacoma and both of the clam's car have no front plate along with my vette.

ive been told before by another officer that its illegally mounted.. but he just shrugged it off after chewing me out. no BS ticket or anything.

It is a hazard to have it up on your dash because it can "fly off and hit someone sitting there". So I've been told by a cop.
You'd be better off not having it displayed at all. Keep it in your back seat and tell them the bracket broke or that there is no place to mount it from the factory.
You drive a corvette, until there are lots and lots and lots of black people driving them you wont be looked at. Sad but true. I think having it up on your dash just catches their attention more.
