Default Chevrolet Avalanche

Just wanted to know who has one or has any experience with these trucks. I like the newer ones (2004+) because the older ones are not all one color. Basically Im looking for opinions and facts about these trucks. I am looking to buy another vehicle in about 6 months but still debating on what to get.

I think they're nice trucks, but they are pretty darn big.

I like the style myself, but I don't like how the bottom is complete plastic. Get the Escalade version, it's better heh, but much more exp. probably.
I saw pictures of one in a wreck and the bottom was totally useless the entire truck was crumpled up like a square, dunno how safe that is...

Yeah the Escalade is way more expensive. I am trying to get something nice in the $30-$35k range. I already have a project hatch and it would be nice to have a truck. I want something nice and "ballerish".

You could probably get a gently used Denali in that range...

Yeah. Whatever I buy I have to get a warranty with it because I don't want to deal with any problems.

Yeah Truckin' did a comparison of all the trucks in that class. The difference between Escalade EXT and Avalanche is abuot 100hp in favor EXT, and about $20,000. The Avi is still a bad ass machine.
