Wow...that thing is built. It just needs a paint job and a cage and it'll be ace. Turbo is a bit large for a 1.6L though.

Why would someone pour so much of themselves into a project and then skimp on some of the parts?

Corbeau? Wilwood? Auto Meter? Piggyback engine management?

It wouldn't have been much more to just get quality stuff. I don't get it.

E-Manage works well with Toyotas...the tuning software still wanks. From what I understand, the AE86 flexes a great deal when you are getting into the 150whp range. I can't imagine over 200. He needs a cage. That's the part he skimped out on the most.
