Re: Cars you'd like to see remade
It's sad the VW bus will never happen again until the foam system from Demolition Man is actually made.
I'd like a remade Avanti. They were so awkward looking from the front and great from the back... a butterface. The interior was fantastic though.
And I want the vette to go back to the simple dual headlight 57 style before the chrome attack.

the brat. and not that "baja" abomination.
jump seats, roll bar, no weight
say the words "Brat STi" to yourself and imagine all the shenanigans you could get into.

240SX or a Datsun style Z. Something small, light and fun. Basically what Toyota made but that actually has power and doesn't have Prius tires.
I'd also like to see a more worthy CRX successor. Better looking would be great but even the current CR-Z with a K-series instead of the hybrid crap would put a smile on my face.
Also, the post above reminds me, Impreza 2.5 RS.

That Trans Am conversion is awful.
But i've seen one in Newport News (Always at the Hidenwood Chik-fila) that looks amazing.
It's clean enough it could have been a factory job.
