Carrera GT
I'm suprised no one has brought this up sooner. I'll just quote MSN for the details.
Now for a tiny little picture which is all that have on their site. I'm sure someone will find some better pictures.
I dunno about you ... but when I hear "lightweight technology" the weight 3,000lb isn't what comes to mind
New Porsche Supercar
Porsche took the wraps off the production version of its new high-performance Carrera GT in Geneva. After receiving a favorable response to the concept shown at the 2000 Paris Motor Show and with 1,000 orders placed, Porsche has decided to build a limited number—just 1500—of the new supercar. During the unveiling, Porsche president and CEO Dr Wendelin Wiedeking observed, "It is fair to say the heart of everyone at Porsche is most probably beating a bit faster. The Carrera GT, given its performance characteristics, its design and its unique character and qualities, will write history in the world of the sports car."
The numbers on this car are most impressive: the 5.7-liter 612-horsepower (European rating, U.S. rating not yet available) V10 engine takes the car to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds on its way to a top speed of more than 200 mph. Part of the secret to the Carrera GT's performance is lightweight technology. The chassis is built out of carbon-fiber reinforced plastic, providing high strength for an unladen weight of around 3,000 lbs. The first Carrera GT models produced at the Porsche plant in Leipzig, Germany, will be delivered to customers at the end of 2003.

Ok ... finally some big pictures
Taken from this page which has also has a writeup on the car: http://cars.ign.com/articles/381/381091p1.html
Yeah ... I'm not sure why this one has foglight and less lights in the rear. Could be pictures from when the car was first unveiled or vice versa. I'm not really sure.

i posted something on this a while back. they were actually thinking about not building the car because it was "too fast" they were saying that its got like 500 pounds of torque at 2,000 rpm's or some shit like that. they said ull spin tires through 6 gears. it actually "scared" one of the best car drivers in the world, the first time hes ever been afraid of a car. but that shit is off the hook. bet bill gates got one on order that lucky bastard

The guy that said it looked like the new mr2, remember that the mr2 design copied the already out porsche.
