I use a lot of Griots and Zaino products. I want to try Adam's.

I seriously need to invest in an orbital. Thankfully, none of the paint on any of my vehicles need serious paint correction, but I hate polishing by hand.
I've been using Adam's since my G8 in 2008, quality stuff. Along with having the best customer service for a detailing company.

Meguiars deep crystal. It's about 5 dollars for a big bottle. Lots of berbers from it also.

What do you all recommend as a good hose nozzle? Mine is broken and sprays water all over me when I wash.

Mequires clear coat safe compound, clear coat safe polish, then ultimate synthetic wax (smells nice too) then ultimate carnuba wax.
Then a terry cloth buff for kicks n giggles.

On my ugly car I used 3m compound for oxidized finishes, then the rest above. Then TR3 over the whole car. In the end, my pink prelude was a fabulous shade of pheonix red. It took about 40 hours total but was well worth it.

I love the Griot's products also. I've always used the Meguiars gold class car wash and Meguiars 3 step compounds and polishes with good results as well. My best investment was the porter cable random orbital polisher with a variety of nice pads from Griots. It's more of a garage hobby than anything, but like everything else in life, if you WANT it to turn out nice and you work hard, you can usually get a quality job as long as you use a decent product.

This man's opinion should be heavily considered when talking about detailing.

I think you can't really go wrong with anything Meguair's but there is better stuff out there.
