if its a used car and its coming from new york it might look good online but could be a pile of shit when it gets to your door.

You can shop around and find them as cheap as $500 or even $400. Hope you know exactly what the car is. Would suck if a shitbox ended up dropped off.

Re: car shipping (?)
I can't remember who I used (can look it up if you really want to know), but I shipped a car from FL to DC last year when I moved up here and it only took 3 days. I paid $500 for it which was a pretty good deal. I had gotten a bunch of quotes prior to choosing one, and some companies offered a super cheap deal of as low as $200 and some as high as $1,500. I recommend you shop around and read reviews. Many of the reviews on the very cheap quotes I received were horrible. The one I got was a good value and the car arrived the same as when I dropped it off.
Honestly though, depending on where in NY the car is, you'll probably spend far less and you'll get to see the car first, if you just make the trip yourself.

agree'd that it would be easier and probably cheaper to go up and drive it back yourself
