Default Broke a $220,000ish car today...

Running the G&W fall fling at VIR this weekend. In the pits next to us was a guy and his wife with a yellow Ferrari 360 Challenge edition... not the newest challege stradalle, but a factory race car non the less. The guy was kind enough to let my tall ass try to fit in his beauty. I got in just fine, and fit fine, but getting out I couldn't quite get it.... I tired going out fee first then heard a loud "POP". Me head bumped the rear view mirror and it proceeded to break off! I was like *#*$* #*)(@) (shit fuck) and appologized many times. His wife only joked that it was a $10,000 part with a $20,000 labor bill. Luckily the guy was able to get a glass epoxy kit and get it all fixed. I felt pretty bad for breaking the guys car even though it was minor.

He told me the car had about 8000 miles on it... all track! Him and his wife do 8-10 HPDE's a year and both drive in different classes each event. Truly gorgeous car.

Rock chips are one thing. My S2000 was chipped all to fuck, but I wouldn't let anybody lean on it. I can do all the damage I want to my car...other people are only allowed to look.

how'd you do at RIR today man?
I didn't think you were going to go because of the vibration you felt in the shifter...did that turn out to be the flywheel or did it just go away?
