Block sealer, anyone used it?
Has anyone used a block sealer? I have a slight internal coolant leak (probably head gasket), and would like to know if you guys have used any of the block sealers on the market to fix an internal coolant leak. What brand did you use, where did you buy it? What was your problem, and did it fix it? Thanks for any feedback.

we sold it at a local autoparts store I used to work at. Im not sure if advanced auto or napa sells it. It's not cheap, it'll run you about 25 bux. But its a ceramis coating and everytime i've used it, it has worked wonders. I actually got turned onto it by a guy whol owned a circle track race team, that put it in all their race motors.

does anyone know where I can get this at a local shop. All the online places want a 25 dollar fee for shipping a hazardous material.

do either of you read the part in the instructions that specifically state not using it with antifreeze?
i have never seen any of the "cure in a bottle" formulas work for a period of time longer then a month or so.

no crap....I am ready to flush the system. The ones that I have read about you flush the system, get it to do its thing. Then you can refill with your normal coolant mix. Am I missing something?
