Best place for a tune on a high compression motor!
Hey everyone i recently just pick up a car from Texas. It has a fully built high compression type r in it. Got it in Texas so the guy highly recommended i get it tuned asap because ( altitude, humidity, etc) different conditions in Virgina. compression is high 12s (head and block were decked, shaved) not 100% on exact compression. Has hondata s300. Anyways i have been told of a few place to go but wanted to see what everyone on here thinks. Talked to Brady at custom car care and looks to be my best bet right now. Any advise on where a good place is would help. Also prices if known would be great! thanks

If it was tuned properly, the air density and humidity differences will be no problem. That is probably not the case though and the tuning is probably really incomplete for Virginia. Now you know why proper engine calibration takes many months, not just a few hours on a dyno.
