Best DIY tuners?

Best DIY tuners?
I'm really big on Euro's, but they're tuning can cost a pretty penny if you send them to shops for everything. What are your favorite tuner cars and why? What cars do you like to work on the most? What cars are the easiest to work on yourself? What opinions do you all have?

Well no, I'm not worried about post counts. They don't really matter to me. I'm just trying to get an idea of what cars people like to tune. I'm shoppin around for a set of wheels and am just trying to get a list of rides to consider, something I can use to hop into the tuner scene. I know a bit of basic modding (your simple bolt on CAIs, exhausts, interior work, how to change oil and other fluids, etc.) from working with friend cars and books, but I want to learn more and get some more hands on with some more complex stuff (turbo installs, upgrades, engine builds, etc.) on something I own so I don't have to worry about pissing someone off if I break something lol

Eh, if you talk to a lot of people on here, they would tell you Hondas. I personally prefer Hondas. I'm pretty young and they're easy to mod on a budget. They are also pretty easy and cheap to fix most the time. And I know that Hondas get a bad rap from being "ricers" and all, but people are gonna "rice" out cars no matter what it is or where it's from.
