Bad juju
Whats up? I'm a newb and this is the first time I've posted. Got a reckless driving/excessive speed ticket the other day on 95s in Spotsylvania County. I was going 89 in a 65. I know it was stupid as hell and I'm not looking for advice on how to get out of the ticket. I f*cked up and I'll deal with it. Just looking for some insight on what I should expect from the court down there. Just moved to VA, my license is out of MA and I haven't gotten a ticket (in the US) since I joined the military. Anybody got some input for me on what I should expect to come out of this with? Thanks for the advic ein advance.

I had a license suspension in Rhode Island like four years ago for failure to pay a ticket, and I've gotten like 4 speeding tickets. The suspension and tickets are all over 4 years old though. So how bad is the ass raping going to be?

Damn. Well fines are better then jail time. Any chance the judge will show slack since I'm new to the area, in the military, and have been driving in Germany (ie no speed limit on the highway) for the last two years. I know I'm reaching on that shit, but its my ass if I lose my license.

i can't say, i doubt you will get jail time, i have had a LOT of tickets when i was younger, never had to serve, but did come close. this will more than likely hurt your wallet the most.

right on. don't be that worried though, i'm sure you will be straight, i lived in va all my life, so i can safely say i've seen alot of shit similar to this. what do you drive?

I'm not too worried for myself. I just don't feel like hearing shit from my Sargeants if I get my license pulled. I drive a pull-me-over-yellow OZ Lancer.
