i want to do a b18c5 jdm-spec swap....but my question is...would that fit? and how much trouble would it be?

The K20 would have more power/tq. but may cost a little more to swap. The mounts, K Pro engine mgmt., axles, etc is where you spend more money than the B swap. If your looking for performance on a budget, I recommend building a motor to fit your needs. It is so much cheaper than buying a swap, and you can make more power with aftermarket parts.

My first swap several years ago was a JDM Type R in my hatch. It was fun, but not worth the money. I have built budget LSVTEC's that make more power than the Type R, for cosiderably less money.

On the flip side, I have bought several complete K24 motors for less than $400 and a Type S head for $400. So you can deffinetly find deals out there.

what are you looking for? b18b/b18c5 your not looking at over 200whp all motor, but it is prolly the better motor for road racing like it was ment to be

you might make more power with an LSVTEC, but i'd like to see how well your LSVTEC runs after 100k miles. Nothing beats OEM reliability.
