b16 swap
Ok i hav a 95 coupe ex that ive installed a b16a2 with gsr head and itr trans into.yet no matter what ive tried i cant seem to get vtec to work. When i bought the motor i was given a p72 speed innovations computer which is what was originally on the motor when it was still boosted. Can someone please help me figure out why i hav no vtec? By the way i have no engine lites. (Phone number removed by moderation staff)

So you've checked the wiring, checked that the VSS is connected, checked that the VTEC oil pressure switch works, and are using an ECU that isn't tuned for a boosted engine?

Well when i bought the motor someone had already put the gsr head on the b16.
Dont mean to sound stupid but whats the vss?
The pressure switch was broke but got one off a j series still no vtec.
Yes the p72 computer i got was on the boosted motor but not sure if it was tuned for turbo. But i do know its been tuned.
