Default B16 in a 2nd gen LS Integra

This has been bothering me for a while. Why would you do it? Yes I know that the B16 is going to have more HP than the B18, but less torque. Why not spend money on a vtec head, internals, or a turbo set-up for the B18? I just do not understand why people do it?

Post your thoughts.

LS/Vtec > B16
Built LS > B16
Turbo LS > B16

i dunno why....i guess if you just want a better engine that you dont want to modify. if youre planning on building it at all, theres really no point

The point I'm trying to get across is, why pay for a b16 swap when you can do the previously mentioned to the B18 that came in the car.

I don't know how much B16 swaps are going for, but I have a friend that just mildy built his LS and it's pretty quick and he probably spent less than a B16 swap would've cost.
