Automotive hood bras: do they work?
With my car being a DD on the highways, i keep noticing small pits on the hood from rocks...
Ive never been interested in a bra before (thought they looked lame) but they suddenely became "trendy" to have, and since my car is black i dont think it would show up much...
but how do they work? does the lip on the windshield side actually deflect debris?

so you want one bc they are now trendy? lawlz.
and from what I've heard they can sometimes end up damaging the paint underneath worse bc things get caught under and rub around.

no i dont want to be trendy with it, my car is the opposite of trendy.
i keep getting chips on my hood, and i'd rather spend a little bit of cash on a protective item than repaint the hood.
i know that u need to take it off when you wash the car so u dont trap dirt under it.

i didnt know if there have been advancements since they came out, or if those lips that stick up actually change airflow enough to keep debris away.

They work, but they will fuck your paint up... unless you remove it regularly and clean it as well as the hood.. dust/sand/dirt gets caught up under it and basically will spot sand your paint over time...
