That car goes against everything I care for in a car, but I absolutely love it. I'd punch a baby for a chance to just ride in it.

My braking with ABS is way better, but its harder to be consistent. I want to drive an R at the track with no ABS to compare, but I don't want to drive someone else's car at the track, and no one I know locally has removed ABS to do it at an autox.

If I paid 2.2M for a car, I would hope it had traction control and ABS.

Neat car, I don't really like all the driving aids, but it almost sounds like this car actually needs them, lol. I'd love to be thrown in the seat by that 16.4 quad turbo-ed engine.

Exactly. I don't think any pilot would fly an F-16 without it's computers.

saying shit like that is exactly why i hate this fucking car......

ITS A FUCKING CAR, not a fucking jet plane. do you people not realize how many 1000hp cars there are in this world???? there are tons.... literally. 03 cobras with slight engine builds and 2 1500 dollar turbos make 1000hp.
a veyron will NOT DO mach 3..... it will do 250. do you know how many people on motorcycles can do 250???? with no traction control or abs...... or seatbelts for that matter. wow never knew a car required a vagina to own it.

find me a spot where anyone will do 250 in this fucking car on the normal basis.... NO WHERE but salt flats, etc etc. so why do you need abs?? when you have miles to slow down, why do you need traction control??? because you dont have the skill or ability to feather a car and learn to fucking drive..... there is more than just pedal to the floor....

Let me know when you find a Cobra like the one you describe that doesn't look like ass/doesn't have a shit interior/doesn't fail inspection and emissions/can go 253 mph with the top down.

For that matter, let me know when you find a street bike that does 253 mph.

Shit argument. The people buyinig this car don't give a fuck, because the people buying this car have the money to do whatever they please. Like paying money to drive on a track where this is possible. Or even building their own on their potentially huge properties.

What the hell would the point of buying a luxury exotic be if you had to deal with all that stupid shit? This car serves a purpose, and it serves that purpose far better than any other car out there. If the people who own one want to have no ABS, no traction control, and want to "feather" a car and drive it at it's limits, they'll buy a car in which all of that is possible. Trust me, they've got the money.

I think the interesting part of the Veyron is that the power is actually usable and exploitable. It's not the amount of power, it's the fact that you can actually access it and still have a reliable, civilized car with excellent everyday manners..

Srsly.

There hasn't been a car built to this day that can do what the Veyron does. ESPECIALLY a topless car. No one can deny that.

And they're incredibly beautiful, IMO...debatable, I guess, but they're a true masterpiece in my eyes and the eyes of many others, ugly or not.
