auto financing question - rebuild title
Maybe one of you out there is a loan officer or works at a bank and can help me out. I'm trying to finance a car that has a water damage/rebuild title and I've yet to find a bank that will touch it. The money isn't the problem - I've been approved otherwise. I have a great paying job, few bills, good credit and a paid off vette I can use that for additional collateral. The thing is as soon as the bank hears the title isn't clean then they don't want to finance it, period. Has anyone found a bank that doesn't care? I heard Langley FCU doesn't care but I'm not eligible for membership there.
Thanks! Jeff |

I work for a mortgage company as a loan processor, I would ask first if you have a house? If you do do a cash-out refi and get some cash out of the equity of your house.

Re: auto financing question - rebuild title
Thanks for the reply but that's not an option for me. Looking to get financed somehow through a bank that doesn't care about the title. Any other ideas?

Re: auto financing question - rebuild title
The car hasn't been fixed. It still has a rebuild title and always will. Try a personal loan. That way they don't care what the money is going to be used for.
