B6 A4.

It's just a good lookin' car as long as you don't get any of the N/A versions.

A chipped 1.8T is no slouch either. And beyond that upgrades are WAY cheaper and WAY easier.

For all the money and work involved a TT is exponentially easier than an S4 to make faster.

That is something I'll never understand about the TT. Audi has the timing belt service at 60k miles. VW does theirs at 90k or 100k miles. Why the difference? I thought they used the same belt part number as well. :dunno:

I'd expect the quarter mile times to be very close, actually. I'm just basing this on power to weight and my experience with Haldex equiped VAG vehicles.

The S4's and TT's Quattro systems are completely different. The S4 uses Torsen while the TT uses Haldex. The systems are nowhere near the same in opperation or physical setup.

A4, the B6 style just looks great inside and out. The S4 would be nice, but I hear are costly on maintenance and modibility. The A4 can be just as fast and handle just as well, with less money put into it and be newer and nicer looking.

TT=small, cramped, ugly. Just no.
