Audi a4? What do you guys think?
 

Well it is looking like it is time to get rid of the SRT-4 too much for insurance

...eating about 2K :( ...

anyways I am looking at a 2001 audi A4 1.8T...its reliable from what I hear. I tried to look at some Audi forums but they were too bias.
Any German enthusiast know a lot about Audi A4's? What kinds of problems will I encounter?

rated consumers report worst car in 2000 and i believe 2001 as well if that means anything

look at jettas too. its a cheaper a4. and probably less on insurance than an a4. and i think the newer ones look better than the old body a4s.

3000+ lbs and 150 hp makes for an unhappy owner/slow ass car.. has decent capability I'm sure, but I would rather get a VW..

Actually my A4 had the cheapest insurance than any car I've ever owned. And the Passat is on the same platform as the A4, not the jetta. If your looking for modifications, the 1.8t has a very, very, good aftermarket. If your not looking to modify, get the 2.8L. It's got more balls stock for stock.
