I'm kinda intersted in this aswell. My buddy is a painter but we don't have a place to paint cars. Doing it in the garage is old now and a couple of my friends want cars sprayed.

We've hussled with local shops but our luck is about to run out on them letting us spray cars in the booths.

Any luck with this? I've found one place that rents for $200/day.

I know this is an old thread (I used the search function..) but am curious if there are any shade tree auto painters out there. I just can't see paying $4,000+ to have a van painted. I can attempt to do it myself for $500 plus the rental fees, I'm just curious if anyone does painting out of their home and would like to make a little extra on the side.
