Just an FYI -- I still run these too, but I discovered last year they are not at all accurate. I had a buddy run one on my old Mustang and it showed that everything was clear on it. It didn't show the accident that was reported to my insurance, the idiot/other driver's insurance, the police and repaired by Ford. It also didn't show the fact that Ford bought the car back from me.
I still check just to see if anything is listed... but don't take it as gospel. Good luck.

Car FAx is overrated. I ran it on a car I had delivered up from S.C. only to find out 3 weeks later from my mechanic that the frame was bent, air bags disabled, check engine light was removed from the dash, and had numerous fault codes from the OBD2 port.
It's probably best for you to take the car to a mechanic & have them look it over.
