Default Anyone ever heard of a firebird ws-9?

Me and my roommate have this disagreement. He says his boss has a WS-9 and I told him there's no such thing. Then he shows me a crappy cellphone pic of a WS-9 badge. He says there were 32 of them sold. Can anyone shine some light on this?

here are some quotes from the other thread...

A WS6 car will also have WS9

WS9 is the regular trans am package. its the next model up beyond the base 'bird but below the WS6

Y82 is the Trans Am base package, the TA will also have WS9 to upgrade to the Formula - which is/was the 'next' in the line

I've heard of WS6's, WS7's and WS9's. This place sells emblems for 6 and 7 but not 9..http://www.carmotorsports.com/emblems_WS.htm

You can still call his bluff on the "32 of them sold" thing though.

WS4 is the base Trans Am package
the WS7 and WS9 badges are aftermark made, never factory
there might have been only 32 WS9's and thats only because only 32 people ordered the aftermarket package from whatever dealer or shop did it
i see WS9 badges on ebay
