Default any turbocoupe guys?

hey i recently got a 1988 thunderbird turbocoupe from a friend of mine. he was getting rid of it, was giving the rear end and tranny to his bestfriend who he builds cars with. he was going to give me the car minus rear end and tranny. the guy who wanted the rear end and tranny was also a friend of mine, i ended up trading a front mount intercooler and some pipeing for the parts. so now i have a complete turbocoupe minus turbo and manifold. the engine needs to be rebuilt, smokes badly, and i need a manifold and turbo. im working on trying to sell my 2.5 turbo dodge spirit (if anyone is interested PM me, i already have an ad up here.) for parts. the turbo from that car might work for now until i swap to a t3.im 16, 17 july 7th so its a good birthday present! . i just got a job at the new First Team Toyota in churchland next to Hall chevy and start wednesday, july 8th i believe. the guy i got the car from has had like 4 TCs so he knoes them top to bottom. im really just looking for some turbocoupe guys or 2.3T mustangs/merkurs (if u have a merkur i WORSHIP YOU!) in the area. would love to meet some of you and see if there are some good car clubs out there. well yeah thats pretty much it, im sure ill be posting pics and updates on the car when i get there.

doubt that turbo will work on that ford, the flanges should be completely different.

Litlespic had a few merkurs and built a sweet turbo 2.3 mustang, no longer has any of them.

Not to many around man. Try turboford.net to find some friends, its a forum dedicated to you 2.3 guys. I have 4 extra cylinders so I dont meet the coolness criteria in your book.
