Is this 3rd gen Toyota Celica worth more than scrap metal?
I may be acquiring a third generation Toyota Celica. I don't know anything about them other than what I have read online. This car is not in great shape, but I was told that it was parked because the alternator failed....that was about 10 years ago. I don't have a ton of details on the car yet, but I do know it has either a 22R or 22R-E engine depending on what year the car is, it has a manual transmission, it is the "GT" trim. I know the old lift back corollas are sought after, but what about the Celica? I cannot find many for sale so it's hard to figure out how much the car might be worth. Any insight is appreciated.

Scrap.
To much rust and not a worthy contender for a restore. |

if its a 22-re alot of tacoma owners will swap those. they hold up to boost pretty well iirc.
as for restoring it, it needs a new trunk since that one is rusted through, front bumper too. as for the rest of the car you might be able to save it if you wanted, barring the underside of the car being structurally unsafe |
