18,900 to spend on new car...what to get?
I totaled my 05 RSX-S about 2 months ago and got $18,900 from the insurance company. I am getting a new car soon and dont know what i should get with the money. Please keep in mind im 17 and have to abide by my parents rules....still. My dad said that i cant get another RSX-S and my limit on hp is about 200 (but i can exceed that barely). Another thing is this car has to last me through the rest of high school and college so if it is a used car idea it needs to be something i could get with low enough mileage.
I appreciate all input, two ideas i already had were a 07 or 08 sentra SER spec-v and a mini cooper S.

I would buy something that gets 50+ mpg. You're in school, worry about something nice later. Anyways, it sounds as if your father is putting a limit on horsepower which means he doesn't think you are responsible enough...
