Default 10miles

That was the odometer on the new 06 civic si that I had the pleasure of driving this afternoon. The first one that I seen in the tidewater area.

Silver in color, great stock exhaust, engine sounds, awesome interior....

Only thing I didnt really like was the drive by wire system in the car.

Other than that I would own one if I had the extra money. 20k on the sticker

yea that Drive by wire stinks, stock. My dads 05 Roush Mustang has it and it sux for shifting. when u let off the gas to shift, the revs stay up a little longer. but once my dad gets the blower and the tune in it, you can tune the throttle lag right out of it.

those 06 civics are pretty nice, I'd buy one as a DD

Like I said, the lag is miliseconds. Are you honestly telling me you can tell miliseconds? I've driven plenty of drive by wire cars.

Prominent? I wouldn't expect it to be that bad.

Did any of the magazines that gave it "Car of the Year" touch on this?

EDIT: My point is that people are told that there is "lag". Their mind is tricked into thinking it's there. Slop in a throttle cable can give the same feeling...
