Brings me back. I remember when this build was going on >> followed it daily. I wanted to stuff a 1.8T (although not quite that built) into my Polo and thought it couldn't be done. Very impressive build to say the least and you guys have no idea how hard it is to stuff anything above a 1.4l into the bay of a mk1 polo!! (let alone strap a big turbo onto it at the same time). BTW... a mk1 polo weighs in at about 1400lbs so power to weight on that thing is gnutz!!
